Marriage is regarded as a sacred social contract in Islam, forming the foundation of a stable and happy family life. However, due to the challenging economic conditions in the country, many underprivileged families find it difficult to afford wedding expenses. This programme aims to ease their burden and bring hope to thousands of struggling families.

Eligibility Criteria
- Girls aged 18-40 years who are:
- Orphans
- Destitute
- Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
- Daughters of PWDs
- The applicant can be the bride, her father, mother, or guardian.
- Must have Punjab domicile.
- In case of more applications than available slots, selection will be done through electronic balloting.

Wedding Gifts by the CM
- A dowry worth Rs. 206,000, which includes:
- The Holy Quran and a prayer mat.
- A wooden double bed with a mattress and mirror.
- A dinner set and other household essentials.
- Additionally, a money gift of Rs. 100,000 will be provided to each bride through an ATM card.
Wedding Events Across Punjab
Under this programme, collective wedding ceremonies will be held for 3,000 underprivileged girls across Punjab. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to supporting the less fortunate and fostering a sense of hope and stability within society.
